"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
I'm planting this citation forever in my head. Hopefully in the end, we all can make homemade flavoured-tea from only the sweetest fruit and flower. x
"Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
"Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair."
"The cure for anything is salt water - sweat, tears or the sea."

If you could just pick one of her work to colour your wall, which one would you choose?
Curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life.
Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't. Friendship with oneself is all-important, because without it one cannot be friends with anyone else in the world. Learn from the mistakes of others. You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself. It takes courage to love, but pain through love is the purifying fire which those who love generously know. We all know people who are so much afraid of pain that they shut themselves up like clams in a shell and, giving out nothing, receive nothing and therefore shrink until life is a mere living death. The giving of love is an education in itself. When you cease to make a contribution, you begin to die. I think, at a child's birth, if a mother could ask a fairy godmother to endow it with the most useful gift, that gift should be curiosity.
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
You always admire what you really don't understand.

Few sentences from the great Eleanor Roosevelt that I really need to grasp in mind. Picture of her at the top were copied from: http://eleanorrooseveltbiography.com
(Every now and then, I accidentally ran into interesting text/quotes. I decided to put them on my blog as inspirations and reminders to self.)
